At present, the developed and developing countries of the world are gripped by a truly real "epidemic" of obesity. According to WHO (2008), about 1.4 billion adults (over 20 years old) of the world's population are overweight, and about 500 million people (approximately 200 million men and almost 300 million women) are obese.
In our country, surgical treatment of obesity is just beginning to take its place in surgical hospitals. To perform these operations, you need a specialized department, trained personnel. And since the number of bariatric operations is becoming more and more, X-ray examination is one of the main ones in the postoperative period.
As part of the course, students:
- Learn the algorithm of X-ray examination after bariatric surgery
- Normal postoperative X-ray examination and functional changes after bariatric surgery
- Possible complications for each type of bariatric surgery
- They will study the mistakes made in the study.
The course uses interactive forms of learning (video lectures, tests, etc.).
Number of possible cycles: once a month.
Maximum number of listeners per cycle: no number limit
