Diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer (Electronic educational course 36 hours.)
In terms of morbidity, lung cancer ranks 1st among other malignant tumors in men in Russia, and in terms of mortality-1st among men and women both in Russia and in the world. Every year, more than 1.4 million people get lung cancer worldwide, 65% of whom live in industrialized countries. Lung cancer kills more patients each year than prostate, breast, and colon cancer combined. At the same time, the number of patients with locally advanced forms of non-small cell lung cancer exceeds 30% of all newly diagnosed cases.
The key to successful treatment of lung cancer is early diagnosis and early detection of this pathology. To this end, many screening programs are being developed in the world for the examination of the population, including modern diagnostic technologies (genetic testing, spiral low-dose computed tomography) and modern methods of complex diagnostics after the detection of the disease (PET, PET-CT, endoscopic diagnostic methods and immunohistochemistry).
Over the past few years, new effective schemes of complex and combined treatment of lung cancer have been developed and introduced into clinical practice, we will tell you in detail about them, compare their treatment effectiveness on the examples of clinical observations.

- Treatment options for disseminated non-small cell lung cancer with activating mutations.
A special feature of the course is distance learning by means of electronic educational environment with the use of interactive communication technologies.
As a result of the course, the student must acquire or update general and special knowledge and skills in the diagnosis, early detection and treatment of diseases of oncological and surgical profiles.
Students who have completed their training and successfully passed the final certification in the form of a test receive a certificate of advanced training.
