MCSC expert conducted a master class on colorectal surgery for oncologists in Saratov
NewsOn July 11, a scientific and practical conference "Promising imaging methods in the endosurgery of malignant neoplasms" was held at the Regional Clinical Oncology Dispensary in Saratov.
Specialists of the federal clinics of Moscow – leading oncologists of Russia, told about the use of new technologies in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of cancer, and also conducted master classes for colleagues.
The head of the Department of Coloproctology of MCSC A.S. Loginova, oncologist surgeon, coloproctologist, MD – Mikhail Danilov presented the possibilities of our Center, and also shared his experience of using ICG in colon surgery.
During the conference, our expert performed live laparoscopic right-sided hemicolectomy with D-3 lymphadenectomy using ICG.
"A live broadcast of the operation with ICG is the best way to show colleagues the practical value of the method: its visibility and real impact on the safety and radical nature of the intervention," the doctor noted.
The participants noted the high accuracy and visibility of the method, which is already becoming the standard in high-tech surgery.
