Experience without borders: internship of specialists from Turkmenistan at MCSC

News

Colleagues from Turkmenistan came to MCSC named after A.S. Loginov for an internship. The training began with a tour of the Center, where specialists were able to see how the work of one of the leading oncological institutions in the country is organized. During the acquaintance with the clinic, the guests visited the radiotherapy department, the Outpatient Oncology Care Center (CAOP), the radioisotope diagnostics department, the laboratory unit, the endoscopic diagnostics department and comfortable wards for patients.

In each of them, the Center's specialists told about patient routing, modern approaches to diagnosis and treatment, and also demonstrated the capabilities of high-tech equipment. Colleagues will be trained in the departments of radiation therapy, tumors of the head and neck and pathological anatomy.

The peculiarity of the program is the maximum immersion in practical work. All training days are held directly in clinical units, where decisions are made daily, on which the effectiveness of patient treatment depends. Participants will be able to observe the work of specialists in real conditions, get acquainted with modern technologies and discuss clinical cases together with the Center's experts.

This format allows you not just to study individual techniques, but to see how the system of oncological care as a whole works — from diagnostics to high-tech treatment. This is the main value of professional exchange: the best practices are transmitted not on presentation slides, but next to those who apply them daily in their work.

The MCSC offers professional retraining, advanced training and practical internships for specialists in various fields. You can find out more in the Training Center:
