The joy of movement after a meniscus rupture. MCSC patient history
Today we are telling the story of Sofia Kondratieva, who in October 2024 unsuccessfully jumped off a spinning swing on a playground and injured her knee.
After the incident, she underwent an MRI scan, which confirmed the rupture of the meniscus. The girl was prescribed conservative drug treatment and a physiotherapy program. However, three months later, the condition only worsened, the pain became unbearable, movement was very difficult.
Then Sophia turned to the Department of Orthopedics and complex trauma MCSC named after A.S. Loginov, where she underwent a high-tech operation to repair the damaged meniscus by arthroscopy. The very next day after the operation, the patient was able to return home, and soon removed the stitches.
