Diagnosis of inflammatory bowel disease

Laboratory diagnostics:

1. Clinical blood test with leukocyte formula + ESR
2. Biochemical analysis of blood: total protein, albumin, creatinine, urea, glucose, potassium, sodium, chlorine, calcium, total cholesterol, total bilirubin, ALT, AST, GGTP, alkaline phosphatase, alpha-amylase, CRP, iron
3. Coagulogram: prothrombin, INR, APTT
4. Blood test for antibodies to intestinal infections (Salmonella, shigella, yersinia)
5. General urinalysis
6. General analysis of feces
7. Analysis of feces for clostridial infection (toxin A and B Cl.difficile)

Instrumental diagnostics:

1. Electrocardiogram
2. Respiratory hydrogen test for bacterial overgrowth syndrome
3. Ultrasound diagnostics: abdominal organs + intestines
4. CT enterography + angiography of the abdominal aorta and its branches
5. Esophagogastroduodenoscopy + express diagnosis of H.Pylori, express test for lactase deficiency, biopsy for celiac disease, Whipple's disease, amyloidosis
6. Colonoscopy + stepped biopsy from the colon, PCR examination for Epstein-Barr virus, Mycobacteria DNA, Cytomegalovirus in a biopsy of the mucosa
