Radiotherapy Department

The radiotherapy department began work at the A.S. MCSC in November 2023, opening up new ways in the treatment of patients. Today, our Center is equipped with the most modern equipment for all types of radiation therapy, which allows us to organize a full cycle of oncological treatment of patients on the basis of the MCSC.

  • high radiation accuracy;
  • minimum side effects;
  • individual adaptation to each patient, taking into account the size, shape and location of the tumor;
  • the possibility of combining with other methods to achieve the best results;
  • the speed of the session and the opportunity to return to everyday activities.

    About 270 patients with various forms of cancer, including breast, lung, prostate, cervical, laryngeal and other cancers, are treated here every day.

    The latest equipment allows for the most accurate targeting of tumors: 3 state-of-the-art linear accelerators, as well as a system for brachytherapy, ensure the effective destruction of cancer cells with minimal risks to the patient's health.

    Radiation therapy for oncological diseases has many advantages that make this method one of the most effective and safe:

    • high radiation accuracy;
