Autoimmune hepatitis

Autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) is a chronic liver disease of unknown etiology that can develop at any age, in both sexes, and in all ethnic groups. Despite the successes and advances in understanding the pathogenetic mechanisms of development, which are the key tools for successful therapy, AIH remains a disease with the most important unresolved diagnostic problems. In the clinical practice of doctors, difficult questions arise when the clinical situation of a patient with AIH can be a difficult task.
This explains the need for continuous education of doctors in this field, since an untimely diagnosis of inadequate therapy can lead to fatal consequences.

The course will address the following issues::

1. The pathogenesis of AIH, which determines the issues of treatment of the disease.
2. Diagnosis of AIG, including the features of serological diagnosis, the questions of the practical significance of the classification of AIG, created on the basis of autoantibodies, are considered. 
3. Questions of the development of immuno-mediated diseases and extrahepatic manifestations in autoimmune hepatitis, treatment tactics. 
4. Features of the course of autoimmune hepatitis during pregnancy, features of immunosuppressive therapy in pregnant women suffering from autoimmune hepatitis and treated before pregnancy both during remission and during exacerbation, features of immunosuppressive therapy in the elderly. 
5. Guidelines for the treatment of autoimmune hepatitis, key issues on the use of standard treatment regimens and alternative therapies, "rescue" therapy for autoimmune hepatitis; issues of dynamic monitoring and control and prevention of side effects of therapy. 
6. Questions of treatment and diagnosis of cirrhosis of the liver, developed in the outcome of autoimmune hepatitis, depending on the class of cirrhosis according to Ch-P, concomitant pathology.
