Endoscopic ultrasonography in the diagnosis of cystic formations of the pancreas

Relevance:
Differential diagnosis and management of patients with cystic formations of the pancreas (pancreas) is one of the most complex and controversial issues of modern medicine. Errors in the differential diagnosis of cystic formations of the pancreas often lead to the wrong choice of treatment tactics.
Our institution has accumulated experience in the diagnosis of cystic formations of the pancreas using endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) - a method of ultrasound examination with endoscopic access, which has a number of advantages over multi-spiral computed tomography (MSCT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

As part of the course, we:

  1. We will teach you the technique and technique of performing endoscopic ultrasonography to visualize all parts of the pancreas;
  2. We will explain the main endosonographic criteria for the differential diagnosis of various cystic formations of the pancreas (pancreatic CO);
  3. We will show the diagnostic capabilities of contrast enhancement and confocal laser endomicroscopy in the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.
