Retrograde interventions on the bile ducts. From simple to complex. Stenting (18 hours)

Relevance: Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopanceratography was first performed for diagnostic purposes in 1968. Since then, this technique has been significantly improved and, thanks to the introduction of many technical innovations in medicine, has now become a fully curative procedure.

As part of the course, we:

  1. We will conduct a detailed review of the tools and equipment for endoscopic retrograde cholangiopanceratography; 
  2. we will study the technique of nasobiliary and nasopancreatic drainage and stenting with plastic stents;
  3. we will study the indications, contraindications and technical aspects of biliary stenting with metal self-opening stents;
  4. we will study in detail the technique of removing pancreatobiliary stents (non-migrated and migrated);
  5. we will study the features of the "rendezvous" technology and pancreatobiliary stenting;
  6. we will analyze the indications, methods and techniques of oral choledochosocpy and pancreatoscopy.
