Retrograde interventions on the bile ducts. From simple to complex. Cholelithiasis. Choledocholithiasis (36 hours)

Relevance: Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopanceratography (ERCP) was first performed for diagnostic purposes in 1968. Since then, this technique has been significantly improved and, thanks to the introduction of many technical innovations in medicine, has now become a fully curative procedure.

As part of the course, we:

  1. we will analyze the stages of development of the endoscopic retrograde cholangiopanceratography (ERCP) technique, the basics of the safety of the procedure; 
  2. we will study the indications, contraindications and technical aspects of endoscopic retrograde cholangiopanceratography (ERCP), including a detailed overview of the tools and equipment;
  3. we will study in detail the methods and techniques of cannulation of the large duadenal papilla and the main pancreatic duct;
  4. we will study the features of various methods of lithoextraction and lithotripsy;
  5. we will study the methods of nasobiliary and nasopancreatic drainage and stenting.
