Ultrasound diagnosis of thyroid diseases (36 hours)

Relevance. Recently, in the process of improving and developing ultrasound equipment, the approach to the echographic assessment of superficially located organs, in particular the thyroid gland, has changed.  The study became complex when the B-mode was combined with color and spectral Doppler scanning, which allows, in addition to assessing the echostructure of the thyroid gland and detecting formations, to detect and register normal as well as pathological blood flow in the organ under study. Currently, ultrasound (ultrasound) is the most common method of imaging the thyroid gland. In modern diagnostic search algorithms for thyroid diseases, if any thyroid pathology is suspected, and at any age, the clinician chooses this highly informative method after examining the patient. Ultrasound is legally chosen as the leading one for dynamic assessment of the thyroid gland at different stages of therapeutic treatment, after surgical and radiation interventions, with lifelong dispensary observation for early detection of the threat of relapse of the disease after its cure.
