Ultrasound diagnostics of inflammatory bowel diseases (36 hours)

Relevance. Recently, there has been significant progress in transabdominal ultrasound diagnostics (USD) of diseases of the hollow organs, in particular, the small and large intestine. As for inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), the improvement of ultrasound of these clinical conditions is facilitated by the improvement of technologies (in particular, modern ultrasound equipment, the presence of ultra-sensitive sensors) and the accumulation of experience, as well as the analysis of those ultrasound findings in IBD, which allowed the development of ultrasound semiotics of these diseases, which strengthened the role of ultrasound as a clinically important, non-invasive and widely available imaging method.

Within the framework of the doctors program:

  1. They will study the possibilities of the ultrasound method of investigation in the diagnosis of IBD.
  2. They will master the skills of primary (screening) diagnosis of IBD.
  3. They will study the ultrasound semiotics of IBD and the complications of these diseases.
  4. They will master ultrasound monitoring of the course of these diseases against the background of ongoing therapy.
