Muscovites got access to electronic medical records from mobile devices

News

From June 26, the electronic medical card will be available to Muscovites on smartphones anywhere at any time. In addition, residents of the capital will be able to independently enter data about their health in the EHR. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development Anastasia Rakova.

"Since January 14, 2020, we have opened access to electronic medical records for Muscovites on the portal mos.ru. In total, more than 10 million electronic medical cards have been created, and more than 650 thousand citizens have already registered access to their medical data. And we continue to expand the capabilities of this service: starting tomorrow, we will launch a mobile version of the electronic medical record. Now complete information about the state of health is not only stored in one convenient place, but will always be at hand, " the vice-mayor said.

Since June 26, the electronic medical card is available for Muscovites in the mobile app. In the mobile version, users will have full access to information about their health – all information from the electronic medical card will be available from their smartphone. All medical documents from the electronic medical record in the mobile application can be downloaded and sent via email or messengers.

You can also make an appointment with a doctor on your smartphone – you can set up notifications about upcoming doctor visits or alerts about appointments in the app. This allows you to choose the necessary specialist, as well as a convenient date and time of the appointment. You do not need to print the ticket – just open the entry in the app.

Now you can use the medical card to monitor key health indicators. From tomorrow, it will be possible to download data on body temperature and oxygen levels, and from June 29 - on pulse, blood sugar and blood pressure. To do this, in the medical card, both in the mobile app and on the mos.ru, launched a new section – "Health Diary".

Moreover, those users who are used to keeping health diaries in apps such as Apple Health and Google Fit will not need to change their habits. It will be enough to install a special application "EMIAS Connect" and agree to send the desired information to the electronic card. It should be noted that hundreds of smart wearable gadgets (for example, scales, blood pressure monitors, blood glucose meters, and others) are integrated with the Apple Health and Google Fit apps. Data from all these gadgets, of course, with the consent of the patient, can now be accessed by the doctor in real time.

In addition, Muscovites will be able to independently upload a variety of medical data to an electronic card on the website mos.ru. In the future, this feature will also appear in the mobile app.

"It is impossible to ensure the real completeness of medical information without the participation of the patient in this process. And now we give the opportunity to enter data into the medical record independently – we give the patient a tool for taking care of their health. Now Muscovites will be able to upload data on children's vaccinations made in federal and private institutions. Also, citizens can enter information about the family history – the history of diseases of parents, grandparents. Such information may be useful to the attending physician for more accurate diagnosis and timely detection of genetic pathologies. In addition, thanks to the "Health Diary", you can track the dynamics of the state, which is especially important for patients with chronic diseases, " the vice-mayor said.

Citizens now have the opportunity to upload to the electronic medical record on the portal mos.ru various medical documents – the protocol of the doctor's examination, the results of laboratory and instrumental studies, the discharge epicrisis, the prescription, the conclusion of the medical commission.

Users can also independently add information about vaccinations given to children under 15 years of age in private and federal clinics. This can be done both on the website and in the mobile app. The data is filled in manually. You will need to attach a scan of the vaccination certificate or medical certificate of the preventive vaccination.

Muscovites can fill out a questionnaire with a family history. It allows the user to consolidate in one place the data on the diseases of the closest blood relatives. This information is very important for determining the genetic predisposition of a person, and is also of paramount importance for identifying hereditary pathologies. This information will help the doctor to make an accurate diagnosis and assess the risks that may be relevant to the patient's health.

We will remind, earlier in the electronic medical record on the portal mos.ru Muscovites have had access to the protocols of medical examinations since 2017, the results of laboratory tests since 2019, the results of CT, MRI, fluorography and other instrumental studies since 2020, hospital extracts from 2019 and the child's vaccination card. The results of tests for coronavirus infection made after April 20 are available to Muscovites in the EMC for three days.

To access the "Medical Card" section in the mobile app, the user must be over 15 years old, have a Moscow health insurance policy, and most importantly-get access to the EHR on the portal mos.ru. To register on the portal of public services, open the section "Catalog of services", go to the subsection "Health", then select the tab "Request, change and cancel access to the electronic medical record" and click "Get a service". Then you need to fill out the application, following the instructions. To get access to the children's cards, parents need to submit a separate application on the portal mos.ru. After submitting the application, access to the electronic medical record is provided within five working days. Mobile applications " EMIAS.INFO" and "EMIAS Connect" can be downloaded on Google Play or AppStore, depending on the smartphone model. For the correct operation of mobile applications, you need to monitor their timely updates.

All personal information and medical data of the patient is securely protected. To get access to the electronic medical record, the user needs to confirm their identity. In addition, each time the user logs in to the EHR, a one-time password is sent to the mobile phone. Access to electronic medical records of children is granted to parents whose relationship is officially confirmed on mos.ru. Learn more about the EMC project on the portal mos.ru.
