MCSC experts took part in the largest international congress on liver surgery in Seoul

From June 24 to 27, the 5th World Congress of the International Association for Minimally Invasive Liver Surgery International Laparoscopic Liver Society - ILLS was held in Seoul (South Korea), which was attended by experts of the MCSC named after A.S. Loginov:

MCSC staff presented 8 oral reports and 4 poster reports, as well as 1 video session report, which eventually amounted to about 3% of the congress agenda.

The report "Comparative analysis of outcomes after roboticand open resection for perihilar cholangiocarcinoma" demonstrated the leading position of MCSC in portal cholangiocarcinoma surgery by robotic access in terms of the number of operated patients in one center and was nominated for the best oral presentation. In addition, the head of the Department of hepatopancreatobiliary surgery MCSC Efanov Mikhail Germanovich gave a lecture on the "reference result" of surgical treatment of portal cholangiocarcinoma as part of the symposium at the closing of the conference.

During the congress, our specialists exchanged experience with colleagues, and also discussed the possibility of conducting joint multicenter research and exchange of experience within the framework of internships.
