It is important to follow the recommendations of the nutritionist on nutrition and follow the prescriptions of the attending physician.
Can there be complications after surgery?
The risk of postoperative complications in bariatric surgery does exist – as with any surgical intervention. But most of the complications, as a rule, are not related to the actions of the surgeon, but to a violation of diet and diet, concomitant diseases that were not taken into account before the operation, a late visit to the doctor with alarming symptoms or low awareness of the patient about the recovery process.
