On September 20-21, a practical master class "Interventional methods of pain treatment for patients with oncological diagnoses" was held in Moscow, where leading Russian experts shared their unique experience in using minimally invasive technologies in the treatment of oncological pain. The event was attended by doctors from Moscow, as well as specialists from Kazakhstan (Astana, Almaty, Karaganda).

Ksenia Goryacheva, head of the Chronic Pain Treatment Center of the MCSC named after A.S. Loginov, together with colleagues from the Association of Interventional Pain Management Methods, demonstrated unique techniques to the participants, including X-ray navigation, interventions on biomanekins and phantoms. The doctor emphasized the importance of proper selection of pain management methods and individual assessment of each patient.

"We try to choose the safest and most effective approaches. If we find new solutions, we definitely introduce them into everyday clinical practice and tell our colleagues about them," the doctor said.

The course participants, practicing doctors, noted the need for regular meetings of this format for further professional development and improvement of care for patients with pain syndromes.
