Patient history: treatment of shoulder joint injury at MCSC

News

Today we are telling the story of our patient from France — Pierre, 55 years old.

It all started with a common household injury — it would seem nothing serious. But over time, the pain in the right shoulder only intensified. For 6 months he lived with constant discomfort: movements were limited, habitual actions were difficult.

The man went to the doctors, took medication, but the relief was temporary. When it became clear that conservative methods did not help, he began to look for other solutions.

On the recommendation of Pierre, he turned to the MCSC named after A.S. Loginov. After remote consultation with specialists of the Department of Orthopedics and complex trauma and MRI analysis, surgical treatment is recommended for the patient.

Having made the decision, he flew to Russia.

  • The operation was complex: the doctors restored the structures of the shoulder joint through small punctures, strengthened the biceps tendon and restored the damaged tissues. Everything went well.

But the most important thing is the result.

11 months after the operation, Pierre has fully recovered: the pain has gone away, mobility has returned, and he can again live an active life without restrictions.

Today, with a smile, he recalls the way he has traveled and shares his impressions of the treatment at the MCSC.
