The results of the work of Karelian doctors were presented at the conference. In particular, over the past five years, Karelian doctors have introduced and widely used endosonography– a method that combines endoscopic and ultrasound diagnostics of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. Assistance in the implementation of this method was provided by the head of the Diagnostic Endoscopy Department of the MCSC named after A.S. Loginov, Doctor of Medical Sciences Elena Parfenchikova.
