MCSC expert at the Congress of the Japanese Society of Hepatosurgeons

In Japan, for the 38th time, the annual meeting of the Japanese Society of Hepatobiliary Pancreatic Surgery JSHBPS-2026 was held – one of the landmark events for surgeons from all over the world.

Denis Viktorovich Fisenko, surgeon of the Department of Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery MCSC, took part as an invited expert.

As part of the conference, the experience of our Center was presented by 4 oral, 1 video and 4 poster presentations.

And the material about the comparative analysis of robotic and open radical surgery in patients with proximal bile duct cancer, which took place as part of a panel discussion, demonstrated the leading positions of the A.S. Loginov MCSC in portal cholangiocarcinoma surgery by robotic access in terms of the number of operated patients in one center and the results of treatment.

Denis Viktorovich also presented a comparative analysis of minimally invasive and open surgical treatment of patients with malignant tumors of the liver, gallbladder and pancreas. Great interest was aroused by the report within the poster session devoted to the factors of development of biliary complications in patients with tumors of the bile ducts.

These reports were highly appreciated by the expert community and caused a lively discussion. At the congress, our specialist exchanged experience with colleagues, as well as discussed the possibility of conducting joint multicenter research and sharing experience within the framework of internships.

The MCSC named after A.S. Loginov has accumulated extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the liver, bile ducts and pancreas.

The Center's experts regularly participate in interregional, national and international congresses, where the MCSC's best practices are in demand, implemented in reports at major domestic and foreign forums, as well as publications in leading domestic and foreign professional publications.
