Colon tumor: review of our patient from the department of coloproctology
NewsIn 2024, after passing tests for medication, Valentina Ivanovna was found to have low hemoglobin. After a course of drug therapy, the indicators returned to normal, but a year later hemoglobin decreased again. The therapist prescribed endoscopic examinations – gastro- and colonoscopy.
As a result of the conducted studies, a malignant tumor was detected and the patient was referred to the MCSC named after A.S. Loginov.
At the MCSC, our specialists conducted all the necessary additional examinations and established the final diagnosis – cancer of the ascending colon. The patient underwent a high–tech operation using a robotic system - the operation was successful and today Valentina Ivanovna feels well and leads an active life.
