The MCSC team is the winner of the athletics and weightlifting competitions!
NewsOn September 19, as part of the "Formula of Life" festival for medical professionals in Moscow, the MCSC team took part in athletics and weightlifting competitions. In total, athletes from more than 70 organizations and institutions of the Moscow healthcare system competed for the victory.
The participants of the tournament were welcomed by the Chairman of the organizing Committee of the Spartakiad Elena Efremova, as well as the Russian high jumper, Olympic champion of Athens-2004, two-time world indoor champion, Honored Master of Sports of Russia, current Olympic Games record holder in high jump among women Elena Slesarenko.
The athletes competed in short and medium distance running – 60 m, 100 m, 400 m, 800 m, 2000 m, 3000 m and 4x200 m relay.
In weightlifting competitions, athletes competed in the barbell press and the disc jerk.
In the individual competition, our athletes became prize-winners:
- Silver in the 2000 m race – Elena Grishina
- Bronze in the 400 m – Dmitry Levanovich
- Bronze in the 4x200m relay – Elena Grishina, Tansylu Ibragimova, Egor Likhatskikh, Nikita Metelkin
- Silver in the discus snatch – Anastasia Kaspersky
- Silver in the discus jerk – Damir Latypov
