Leading Russian herniologists at a conference in Saratov
NewsThe First Volga Herniofest was held in Saratov on the basis of the regional clinical hospital. The two-day conference, which demonstrated the latest methods of hernia treatment, brought together specialists in the field of herniology from different regions of the country.
The event was attended by leading experts of MCSC named after A.S. Loginov:
- Bogdan Orlov, Deputy Chief Physician for Quality Control of Medical Activities and organization of surgical care, performed the most up-to-date and least traumatic preperitoneal plastic surgery (peTEP) in a patient with a hernia of the white line of the abdomen.
- The head of the surgical department, Alexey Yuriy, performed separation plastic surgery on a patient with a large postoperative ventral hernia.
