Cancer of the sigmoid colon. MCSC patient's review.
In 2019, Natalia was hospitalized in a regional hospital with suspected appendicitis, where she underwent emergency surgery. During the operation, locally advanced sigmoid colon cancer was detected and the patient was declared not operable.
In 2020, she applied to the MCSC named after A.S. Loginov. And at the multidisciplinary oncological consultation, our doctors decided to start treatment. First, chemotherapy was performed, as a result of which the tumor decreased in size. And then an operation was performed to remove a malignant tumor of the sigmoid colon.
It has been 5 years since the operation.
Today Natalia lives a full life and thanks the coloproctologist Alexander Vladimirovich Leontiev for helping her recover and return to her usual lifestyle!
Be healthy!
