Cancer of the sigmoid colon. The story of our patient
Today we are telling the story of our patient Raisa Petrovna.
- She is 90 years old. One day she felt a sharp pain in her side. She went to the clinic, she was diagnosed, a polyp was found, sent to the clinic for surgery, but the treatment did not help.
Moreover, she was diagnosed with a tumor of the sigmoid colon. However, the doctors refused further treatment – too old and very high risks of complications.
- Then Raisa Petrovna decided to apply to the MCSC. Our doctors held a consultation. We discussed it for a long time, understanding the complexity of the situation, but the surgeons of the coloproctology department performed a successful operation.
Today Raisa Petrovna feels well, enjoys life and thanks our doctors very much.
