How is Moscow improving the system of oncological care? On the air of "Russia 24"

A large—scale transformation of a new innovative cancer service is being completed in Moscow, based on a comprehensive modernization of anchor hospitals.

Today, 5 of the largest urban hospitals are integrated into this advanced system: MGOB No. 62, MMCC "Kommunarka", Oncology Center No. 1 of the S.S. Yudin State Clinical Hospital, MMSC named after S.P. Botkin and MCSC named after A.S. Loginov, where unique conditions have been created for the treatment of oncological diseases.✅

They have a full range of clinical opportunities, such as diagnostics, surgical treatment, drug therapy, dispensary observation and others. Residents of one or two administrative districts of Moscow are assigned to each center. They include 9 outpatient oncology care centers (CAOP) with the possibility of performing all diagnostic tests necessary to establish or exclude the diagnosis of cancer.
