Patient A.
I want to say a huge thank you to Arthur Robertovich Akhmedyanov. This is a doctor from God. Such people meet once in a lifetime. You can pick up a lot of beautiful words, but none of them will convey what I feel. He has done more for me than I will ever be able to explain in words. I have had diabetes for 25 years. For six years I lived on hemodialysis — every day was a struggle. At the beginning of 2025, I came here with one hope to get on the waiting list for a kidney transplant. Less than a year later, I was called in for surgery — I still remember that day with goosebumps. I was operated on on April 4, 2026. Arthur Robertovich performed the operation brilliantly. He has golden hands, a calm, confident approach and that inner strength that you believe unconditionally. After the transplant, the dynamics was very good. Every day the indicators got better, and I saw how step by step the body comes to life. On the seventh day I was discharged — it was like a miracle, but a miracle made by the hands of a doctor. While I was in the hospital, Arthur Robertovich personally monitored my condition every day. Even on the busiest days, he found time to come in, ask how I was feeling, look at the tests and adjust the appointments. Many thanks to my nephrologist Angelina Sergeevna Burns. A very competent, attentive doctor. Always in touch, calmly explains, without haste. If I was worried, he would calm me down, if something was unclear, he would sort it out. With her you feel confidence and support at every step. I was incredibly lucky that it was she who led me all the way to the transplant. Thanks to the doctor Yana Dmitrievna Nekrasova for the high-class and qualified work after the transplant. She monitored my condition daily, how I was feeling, watched the tests and adjusted the appointments. Special thanks to all the staff of the Surgical Department of Human Organ and Tissue Transplantation — nurses, procedural and duty attendants. Thank you for your care, attention and kindness. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for giving me a chance for a new life without dialysis.
