DEPARTMENT OF HEMATOLOGY AND CHEMOTHERAPY OF HEMOBLASTOSES NO. 1,2
Our hematology department specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of blood diseases. We use international protocols, advanced technologies and an individual approach to each patient.
The main areas of work
Oncohematology
- Leukemia (acute and chronic)
- Lymphomas (Hodgkin's and non-Hodgkin's)
- Multiple myeloma
- Myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS)
Our advantages
- A team of experts – hematologists, oncologists, transfusiologists, resuscitators.
- Laboratory and instrumental diagnostics (cytogenetics, immunophenotyping, molecular diagnostics, NGS sequencing).
- Modern therapy (chemotherapy, targeted drugs, immunotherapy).
- Supportive treatment (antimicrobial prophylaxis, hemocomponent replacement therapy, efferent methods).
We help patients with the most difficult diagnoses using evidence-based medicine and innovative technologies.
DAY HOSPITAL OF THE HEMATOLOGY DEPARTMENT
The hematological day hospital is designed for patients who do not require round-the-clock monitoring, but need regular medical procedures, infusion therapy, follow-up examinations and dynamic monitoring by a hematologist.
1. The main tasks of the day hospital
- Conducting course chemotherapy (including targeted and immunotherapy) on an outpatient basis.
- Maintenance therapy (blood transfusion, thromboconcentrate).
- Diagnostic procedures (bone marrow puncture, bone marrow trepanobiopsy).
- Monitoring the condition of patients after high-dose therapy or transplantation.
- Correction of complications (treatment of anemia, neutropenia).
2. Organization of work
Working hours: from 8:00 to 16:00 (flexible schedule is possible for patients on long-term therapy).
Duration of stay: from several hours to the entire working day, depending on the type of treatment.
Frequency of visits: from 1 time per week to daily visits (according to indications).
3. Ongoing procedures and treatment
- Therapeutic measures
- Chemotherapy (administration of cytostatics, monoclonal antibodies).
- Infusion therapy (hydration, administration of bisphosphonates, immunoglobulins).
- Hemotransfusion (erythrocyte mass, thromboconcentrate).
- Diagnostic manipulations
- Sternal puncture and trepanobiopsy (under local anesthesia).
- Laboratory control (UAC, biochemistry, coagulogram).
4. Advantages of a day hospital
Reducing the risk of nosocomial infections (the patient is not in the hospital around the clock).
Saving beds for serious patients requiring hospitalization.
The ability to lead a habitual lifestyle (the patient returns home after the procedures).
Individual treatment schedule (flexible approach for working patients).
5. Supervision and continuity
- Daily examination by a hematologist (assessment of the condition, correction of therapy).
- Communication with a round-the-clock hospital (rapid hospitalization in case of deterioration).
- Electronic medical card (all data is entered into a single system to monitor the dynamics).
