Batskikh Sergey Nikolaevich

Education and work experience:

In 1995, he graduated from the S. M. Kirov Military Medical Academy in St. Petersburg with a degree in Medical Science.

In 1996, he completed an internship at the Academy in the specialty "Therapy".

From 1996 to 2010, he passed his professional path from a specialist doctor of a departmental polyclinic to a senior gastroenterologist at the Main Military Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

In 2004, he successfully defended his PhD thesis on the topic "Screening of chronic liver diseases in young men". 

From 2010 to 2020, he worked as a researcher at the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor and a gastroenterologist at the Scientific Advisory Clinical Diagnostic Center at this Institute. During this period, he completed four certification courses and three thematic improvement courses, and participated in fifteen clinical trials of new drugs.

Since 2020-Senior Researcher at the Center for Diagnosis and Treatment of Liver Diseases of the Moscow Clinical Scientific and Practical Center named after A. S. Loginov of the Department of Health of the City of Moscow.

General medical experience: more than 30 years.

Work experience in the specialty "Gastroenterology": more than 20 years.

Scientific and educational activities:

He is a member of the Association of Gastroenterologists of Russia, the Russian Society for the Study of the Liver.

He regularly makes presentations at scientific and practical conferences, annually participates in events held by EASL (European Association for the Study of the Liver) and AASLD (American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases), conducts teaching activities as a senior lecturer at the training center of the Moscow State Research Center named after A. S. Loginov.

He is the author of more than 40 printed works.
