Aliyev Vyacheslav Afandievich

In 1999 he graduated from the medical faculty of the Turkmen State Medical Institute with a degree in "Medical science".

From 1999 to 2000, he completed a clinical internship at the Scientific and Clinical Center of Oncology of Turkmenistan, specializing in Oncology.

From 2000 to 2003 he worked as a junior researcher at the Scientific and Clinical Center of Oncology in Ashgabat in the Department of General and thoracoabdominal Oncology.

In 2001, on the basis of the Proctology department of the State Institution "N.N. Blokhin Russian Research Center of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences", he completed advanced training courses.

From 2003 to 2006 he studied in graduate school.

In 2007, under the guidance of Professor Barsukov Yu.A. defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences on the topic "Cytoreductive operations for disseminated colorectal cancer using dendritic cells with tumor antigens in the combined treatment."

In 2015, under the guidance of Academician Davydov, M.I. defended his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences on the topic "Choosing tactics for the treatment of patients with colorectal cancer with synchronous distant metastases."

He has performed more than 1000 open, endoscopic and laparoscopic operations on the abdominal and pelvic organs for colorectal cancer, including reconstructive plastic, expanded and combined, as well as for recurrent and metastatic ovarian tumors. He is proficient in all diagnostic and therapeutic techniques used in modern oncological proctology. Independently performs all types of minimally invasive and open surgical interventions on the rectum and colon, including reconstructive plastic, expanded and combined operations, including laparoscopic. Actively participates in multidisciplinary consultations when discussing patients with colorectal cancer. 

Scientific activity:

  More than 180 scientific publications in domestic and foreign medical journals. Holder of 5 patents (co-authored) Russian Federation for the invention for the treatment of cancer of localized rectal cancer: No. 2352359 (RU 2009), RF No. 2414936 (RU 2011), RF No. 2311909 (RU 2012), RF Patent No. 2367489 (RU 2009) for the treatment of locally advanced rectal cancer, and RF patent for invention No. 2453345 (RU 2012). "A method of treating rectal cancer with synchronous distant metastases." The patent holder is the Federal State Budgetary Institution "N.N. Blokhin National Research Medical Center of Oncology" of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. He takes an active part in international conferences and congresses. Research interests:

Modern principles of treatment of colorectal cancer, tumors of abdominal oncology, oncogynecology, including molecular genetic studies, minimally invasive technologies and organ-preserving surgery for rectal cancer. Screening and early diagnosis of tumors. Drug and radiation therapy of malignant tumors of the colon, issues of oncorehabilitation in patients who have undergone surgery or combined treatment for tumor pathology of the pelvic organs. Benign and initial forms of malignant tumors of the rectum – performing transanal endo-microsurgery. Operable and locally advanced forms of cancer of the rectum and colon – personalization of treatment (schemes of combined and complex treatment – with the use of chemo- and chemoradiotherapy). Laparoscopic surgery. Sphincter-preserving and oncoplastic (with reconstruction of the removed organs) operations. Multivisceral (with resection of neighboring organs) operations for cancer of the rectum and colon. Development of new high-tech various approaches and methods of treatment of colorectal cancer with the presence of synchronous distant metastases in the liver, lungs, retroperitoneal lymph nodes. Supervises the scientific and practical work of residents, postgraduates and doctoral students.
