Academic degree: Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor in the specialty "Pathological Anatomy".
Laureate of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences in the field of histology (1986). He worked at the University of Saskatchewan (Canada) on a grant from the International Association for the Study of Atherosclerosis (1994).
The largest specialist in the field of studying the bacterium Helicobacter pylori and the pathogenesis of H.pylori-associated diseases. His works on the study of the morphofunctional properties of endocrine cells of the gastrointestinal tract, the effect of helium-neon laser radiation on blood cells in coronary and non-coronary heart pathology, as well as the structural foundations of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, gallbladder and liver are widely known.
One of the founders and the first medical director (2012-2013) of the international digital pathomorphological laboratory Laboratoires De Genie.
Scientific activity:
Author of more than 450 scientific papers, including 13 monographs, 10 inventions and 9 guidelines. He is the creator of two atlases: "Atlas of morphological and instrumental diagnostics of esophageal diseases" (2010) and "Instrumental and morphological diagnostics of esophageal and gastric diseases: Atlas-guide" (2024). Under his supervision, 7 candidate's and 1 doctoral dissertation were completed.
