Specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the peripheral nervous system. The practice is based on clinical interpretation of data (including electroneuromyography, neuroimaging and genetic studies) and adherence to the principles of evidence-based medicine.
Key competencies:
Myopathies: Hereditary myopathies, metabolic myopathies, channelopathies (myotonia, periodic paralysis), differentiated diagnosis with inflammatory myopathies.
Motor neuron disease: amyotrophilic lateral sclerosis, spinal muscular atrophy, primary lateral sclerosis, progressive bulbar paralysis. Peripheral nerve diseases: Polyneuropathies (hereditary (Charcot-Marie-Tuta), immune-inflammatory (GBS, CVD), diabetic, toxic), mononeuropathies and plexopathies.
Neuromuscular transmission disorders: myasthenia gravis, Lambert-Eaton syndrome.
Scientific activity:
Regular participant and speaker at All-Russian conferences on neurology and neuromuscular diseases. Author and co-author of more than 5 scientific publications, including in foreign publications. Member of the Association of Clinical Neurophysiologists (ASKLIN) and RRFS European Academy of Neurology.
