MCSC experts at the Eurasian Forum of Colorectal Surgery

From April 24 to April 26, Ufa hosted the II Eurasian Forum of Colorectal Surgery — a key event for specialists in the field of coloproctology.
Specialists discussed advanced technologies, new methods of treatment and shared their unique experience in the field of coloproctology.
The program of the event included:
- Live broadcasts of operations with the participation of leading Russian and foreign surgeons.
- Best practice reports from the country's leading medical centers.
- Discussion of innovative technologies: the use of robotic surgery, the use of lasers and other modern techniques.
- Section of young scientists: competition of scientific papers and the best research.
The Department of Coloproctology MCSC named after A.S. Loginov presented the following reports:
- Experience in performing robotic interventions on the rectum (speakers: Doctor of Medicine Aliyev V.A., Matveev I.V.).
- The results of a randomized study of the effectiveness of neoadjuvant chemotherapy for stage III colon cancer (speaker D.M.N. Danilov M.A., prize-winner of the Young Scientists competition of the young Scientists competition).
- Modern approaches in the treatment of various types of colitis (speaker G.A. Krotov).
The forum was held on the basis of the Bashkir State Medical University (BSMU) and became a significant event for the exchange of experience between doctors who treat patients with diseases of the large intestine.
