MCSC specialist at a conference on IBD in Kaliningrad
NewsOn April 25, 2025, a scientific and practical conference "Interdisciplinary approach in the diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases" was held in Kaliningrad, the scientific program of which was devoted to an interdisciplinary discussion of inflammatory bowel diseases.
The event was attended by leading specialists in the field of gastroenterology and therapy, who have extensive clinical experience in managing patients with inflammatory bowel diseases. The reports consider in detail the issues of biological and basic therapy of Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, present the results of a complex but successful differential diagnosis process involving a multidisciplinary team, and highlight the issues of surgical treatment of IBD.
Anna V. Kagramanova, Senior Researcher at the Department of Intestinal Pathology MCSC named after A.S. Loginov, made a presentation "Evolution of the principles of diagnosis of IBD", which discussed the basic principles of diagnosis of intestinal diseases, current trends in the management of patients with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and also presented clinical observations of patients who are being observed and treated in Department of Intestinal Pathology MCSC.
