MCSC experts at the Moscow Gastroenterology Infoforum
NewsOn May 16, 2025, a new scientific event took place in Moscow - the scientific and practical conference "Moscow Infoforum of Gastroenterology".
Topics relevant to gastroenterological and other specialists were touched upon at the conference:
- modern approaches to the treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases (Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis) not only in multidisciplinary centers, but also at the outpatient stage;
- Clinical observations of rare extra-intestinal manifestations of IBD, systemic rheumatological diseases are presented;
- correction of nutritional deficiency in patients with IBD and management tactics of patients with iron deficiency conditions.
The section devoted to diagnostics in gastroenterology highlights modern approaches to the diagnosis of various pathologies of the gastrointestinal tract with the participation of radiation diagnostics specialists, endoscopists, gastroenterologists.
A report on the optimal choice of genetically engineered biological therapy in patients with IBD, taking into account the latest revision of clinical recommendations, was presented by Oleg V. Knyazev, Chief freelance specialist gastroenterologist, Moscow, Head of the Department of Intestinal Pathology MCSC named after A.S. Loginov DZM.
The uniqueness of the event lies in the interdisciplinarity of the scientific program and the composition of MCSC expert lecturers with extensive experience in managing patients with complex concomitant pathology.
The participants of the conference were given the opportunity to exchange practical experience and knowledge, which in the future will indicate new ways of interaction between specialists of different profiles.
