MCSC resident – winner of the Young scientists competition!
NewsThe resident of MCSC named after A.S. Loginov won the competition of young scientists, which was held as part of the Moscow Oncology Forum among students and residents of medical institutions in Moscow.
60 abstracts participated in the qualifying stage, of which 12 works reached the final – the participants presented innovative approaches in the diagnosis and treatment of oncological diseases.
The winner of the competition was MCSC resident Hripsime Manukyan with the report "New approaches to the prevention of lymphorrhea after mastectomy", which assessed and proved the effectiveness of the drug "Lymphobloc" to reduce the volume and duration of lymphorrhea after radical mastectomies. Thus, it allows to speed up the rehabilitation process of patients diagnosed with breast cancer, which is important for planning adjuvant treatment.
