MCSC experts at the III Eurasian Forum of Colorectal Surgery

The III Eurasian Forum of Colorectal Surgery in Ufa brought together leading experts from Russia, Europe and Asia to discuss modern approaches and technologies in coloproctology and oncocoloproctology. In the context of an increase in the incidence of colorectal cancer and other bowel diseases, the exchange of experience and the development of interdisciplinary interaction of specialists is of particular importance.
MCSC named after A.S. Loginov presented advanced approaches in the surgical treatment of colorectal diseases at the forum.
The leading researcher of the Department of Coloproctology, Doctor of Medicine Vyacheslav Aliyev made a presentation on "Robotic surgery of rectal cancer", dedicated to the modern possibilities of robot-assisted technologies in oncocoloproctology.

One of the key events of the forum was demonstration operations in the format of "live surgery" and "semilive surgery". Vyacheslav Afandievich performed a robot-assisted anterior rectal resection, demonstrating the capabilities of modern high-tech minimally invasive surgery.
