School of Vascular Surgery MCSC in Apatity: training, practice and northern peaks
NewsThe Department of Vascular Surgery MCSC named after A.S. Loginov held an educational school "Winter camp of vascular and X-ray endovascular surgeons 2026", which was held in Apatity, Murmansk region. Over the course of four days, the participants improved their professional skills and discovered new experiences in the Arctic Circle.

The school was attended by 38 young specialists and 15 experts — leading vascular and X-ray endovascular surgeons. The program was designed in such a way that each participant could immerse himself in practical work as much as possible.
During the course, the participants worked out the technique of vascular suture and the creation of vascular anastomoses on specialized training models, performed endovascular interventions using modern simulators, and also got acquainted with the basic set of surgical and endovascular instruments needed in the practice of a vascular surgeon.
The school has become not only a platform for professional training, but also a real winter adventure. Many participants started skiing or snowboarding for the first time, and were also able to enjoy the northern nature and mountain landscapes of the Kola Peninsula.
This format of the event made it possible to combine the educational environment, the exchange of experience and team interaction in an informal atmosphere, which is especially important for young professionals.
