MCSC experience presented at the International Congress on Lung Cancer

On September 10-11, 2026, specialists of the MCSC named after A.S. Loginov took part in the Congress of the Korean Association for the Study of Lung Cancer, which was held in Seoul (Republic of Korea).

Our Center was presented by:

• Arif Kerimovich Allahverdiyev — Head of the Department of Thoracoabdominal Surgery of the MCSC named after A.S. Loginov, Head of the Department of Oncology and Oncosurgery of the Russian University of Medicine of the Ministry of Health of Russia, MD, Professor;
• Parvin Ilgarovich Akhmedov is a surgeon-oncologist at the Department of Thoracoabdominal Surgery of the MCSC named after A.S. Loginov.

The scientific program of the congress included two poster reports on complex clinical cases and modern approaches in thoracic oncology:

• surgical treatment of non-seminal germinogenic tumors of the mediastinum after chemotherapy;
• the successful experience of surgical treatment of patients with stage IV oligometastatic non-small cell lung cancer after preoperative chemoimmunotherapy.

Such meetings are an opportunity to exchange experience with foreign colleagues, share their results and jointly develop modern approaches to the treatment of oncological diseases.
