Lifelong support: MCSC has opened a center for patients after liver transplantation

Two new centers for patients after organ transplantation have started operating in Moscow – on the basis of the MCSC named after A.S. Loginov and the N.V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine.

Now patients with transplanted organs will be able to receive lifelong medical supervision, including prescriptions for preferential medicines — all in one place and with high availability.

MCSC specialists, Head of the surgical Department of human organ and/or Tissue Transplantation, MD Ruslan Bogdanovich Alikhanov and head of the outpatient center after liver transplantation Vitaliya Alexandrovna Keyyan, told that an important stage of recovery of patients after surgery begins after discharge. During this period, regular monitoring, monitoring of well-being and compliance with doctors' recommendations is especially important.
