NewsOn November 15-16, 2019, the 21st International Conference of Young Gastroenterologists "European Bridging Meeting"was held. The interesting format of the event attracts young specialists to gain experience at the beginning of their scientific career.
MCSC im. Loginov was represented by Marina Vasilyevna Malykh, a junior researcher at the Department of Pathology of the Pancreas and Bile Ducts. She presented the first results of the study of exo-and endocrine function of the pancreas before and after surgical treatment. The review of her project was given by Professor Markus Buchler from the University of Heidelberg in Germany. He approved the work, but made a number of valuable comments and suggestions for improving the study, which is not yet finished.
In turn, Professor D. S. Bordin reviewed the work of a young scientist D. Erhartova from the Czech Republic. He noted the high quality of the study design and the thorough processing of the results. The research of the Czech scientist has already been completed and has been awarded a prize.
The second day of the conference was devoted to lectures from leading European experts. They presented new data on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.
