Department of Hematopoietic Stem Cell Collection and efferent treatment methods
Our department specializes in modern methods of collection, processing and storage of blood components using efferent (hardware) technologies. We ensure high quality and safety of donor material, using advanced equipment and strict control standards.
Main areas of work:
- Hardware plasmapheresis (plasma sampling with the return of blood cells to the donor)
- Erythrocytapheresis (collection of erythrocyte mass)
- Leukocytapheresis (collection of leukocytes, including for immunotherapy)
- Cryopreservation of blood components (plasma, stem cells)
- Photopheresis (therapy of GVHD, autoimmune diseases, therapy of cutaneous forms of lymphomas)
Advantages of separation:
- Modern blood separators (e.g. Haemonetics, Fresenius)
- Compliance with international GMP and ISO standards
- Individual approach to donors and recipients
- The possibility of therapeutic plasmapheresis in autoimmune and other diseases
The department cooperates with blood banks, hematology and transplantation centers, providing patients with high-quality blood components.
