X-ray diagnosis of conditions after esophageal surgery (36 hours)

Relevance: In connection with the improvement and development of new technologies of surgical interventions for esophageal diseases, radiologists are faced with the task of mastering postoperative anatomy, learning to recognize complications in various postoperative periods, optimizing the research technique for greater efficiency with a decrease in radiation load. The cycle will also consider clinical observations of patients after rare operations and outdated techniques that can still be found in everyday practice.

As part of the course, we:

  1. We will analyze X-ray anatomy after esophageal surgery, such as esophagoplasty with the gastric stalk, esophagoplasty with the colon, resection or stomy of diverticula, antireflux surgery, oral endoscopic myotomy, Geller surgery, double treak.
  2. We will study the features of the research methodology after esophageal surgery in the early and late postoperative period;
  3. We will study the general and specific complications after esophageal surgery in the early and delayed period.
