The introduction of ultrasound in anesthesiology practice can be figuratively described as follows: eyes appeared on the fingertips of the anesthesiologist or, everything that we did "blindly" now became "transparent". Over the past 30 years, ultrasound has been widely used in anesthesiology and intensive care. A large number of protocols and algorithms were created. One of the most popular and easy-to-learn algorithms is the ultrasound navigation algorithm for vascular catheterization.

 


As part of the course, we:
1. Let's analyze the physical principles on which ultrasonic scanners are built;
2. Learn how to handle various ultrasonic sensors and devices;
3. Learn to read the ultrasound image;
4. We will study in detail the technique and technique of catheterization of peripheral and
central vessels using an ultrasound scanner.
5. Let's analyze the typical errors when working with ultrasound during vascular catheterization.
Number of possible cycles: once a quarter.
Maximum number of listeners per cycle: no more than 5.

Internship conditions: clinical examinations, possible assistance in the following cases:
vascular catheterization (with an appropriate level of training).
