CT and MRI with contrast

Mandatory list of documents for research:

• Referral (form # 057 / y) and an extract from the ICAB (form # 027/y) - if the study will be conducted in another building of the polyclinic or another MO.
• Data from previous studies/inpatient treatment – if available.
• The results of a biochemical blood test, in particular, creatinine levels.

Patient preparation

• The study is carried out on an empty stomach or 2-3 hours after the lastmeal.
• The study is carried out before X-ray examinationsof the digestive tract with barium suspension or 1-1. 5 weeks after. Patients taking metformin-containing drugs (glucophage, siofor, etc.) should stop taking these drugs fromthe moment of administration of the contrast agent and resume taking them 48 hours after the study.
