Preparation for ultrasound of the pelvic organs (uterus, appendages) in women

Transabdominal (through the abdomen) examination of the uterus and appendages is performed with a full bladder, so it is recommended to refrain from urinating before the study for 3-4 hours and drink 1 liter of non-carbonated liquid 1 hour before the procedure.

The study is not performed on an empty stomach, so you can eat and drink on the day of the procedure.

For transvaginal ultrasound (TVUZI) special training is not required, this study is carried out, among other things, to determine pregnancy in the early stages. Before the examination, empty the bladder.

The study is carried out on the 5th-7th day of the menstrual cycle.
