Study of the function of external respiration

Mandatory list of documents for research:

• Referral (form # 057 / y) and an extract from the ICAB (form # 027/y) - if the study will be conducted in another building of the polyclinic or another MO.
• Data from previous studies/inpatient treatment – if available.
• Data from the OAK result.

Patient preparation

• The study is carried out on an empty stomach or not earlier than 1.5-2 hours after a light breakfast.
• 2 hours before the study, the patient should not smoke or drink coffee.
• Do not use inhalers before the study:

• short-acting inhalers (used up to 4 times a day) are canceled 6 hours before the study;
• mid - life inhalers (usually used 2 times a day, in the morning and in the evening) are canceled 12 hours before the study;
• long-acting inhalers (used 1 time a day)are changed from 24 hours before the study.

• Before the study, the patient should avoid intensephysical exertion.
• The patient should come to the study 15-20 minutes before thestart to have a chance to rest a little.
