MCSC experts at the XVI International Congress of the European-African Hepatopancreatobiliary Association (EAHPBA) in Dublin
NewsSpecialists of MCSC named after A.S. Loginov became participants of the XVI International Congress, held every two years by the European-African Hepatopancreatobiliary Association (European-African Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association) in the capital of Ireland — Dublin, June 10-12, 2025.
Our Center was presented by:
- Director of MCSC named after A.S. Loginov, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, MD Khatkov Igor Evgenievich;
- Head of the Department of Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery, Professor, MD Efanov Mikhail Germanovich;
- Senior researcher of the Department of High-tech Surgery and Surgical Endoscopy, PhD Tyutyunnik Pavel Stanislavovich;
- Salimgereeva Diana Arturovna is a junior researcher at the Center for Endocrine and Metabolic Surgery.
MCSC experts made 7 oral presentations, presented 21 poster presentations, and also moderated two scientific sessions and actively participated in discussions on topical issues of modern medicine.
The main topics of discussion at the congress included:
- Modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the liver, biliary tract and pancreas, including organ transplantation.
- The application of innovative methods of minimally invasive surgery and possible ways to overcome the problems of their integration into everyday medical practice.
- Prospects for the use of artificial intelligence in the field of diagnosis and therapy of pathologies of the hepatopancreatobiliary tract.
The Congress gathered over 1,500 specialists from all over the world. 914 reports were heard and 551 poster works were demonstrated. The contribution of MCSC named after A.S. Loginov to the scientific program of the Congress amounted to about 2%.
