MCSC experts took part in the International Congress in Tokyo
NewsOn September 5-6, the 1st International Congress of the Japanese Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy "The 1st JGES International" was held in Tokyo (Japan), bringing together more than 1,000 endoscopists from all over the world.
During the event, the latest achievements of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy were discussed, as well as a live demonstration of endoscopic interventions using state-of-the-art equipment.
The congress was attended by experts of MCSC named after A.S. Loginov:
- Kirill V. Shishin, Head of the Endoscopy Department;
- Nedoluzhko Ivan Yuryevich, Head of the Department of operative endoscopy;
- Semenova Natalia Sergeevna, endoscopist of the Department of Diagnostic Endoscopy.
Our doctors presented at the congress the results of the MCSC's many years of experience in minimally invasive endoscopic treatment of patients with the rare disease Zenker's Diverticulum. The scientific work was selected among the top 20 to receive a grant from young scientists and presented in an oral report by N.S. Semenova.
