MCSC experts at the International Congress of Oncologists and Radiologists in Tashkent
NewsA large-scale congress of oncologists and radiologists with international participation "Opportunities and prospects of modern oncology" was held in Tashkent on September 19-20. The event was attended by leading experts from the CIS countries, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
The topics of the congress covered the key areas of modern oncology: molecular diagnostics, screening, innovative methods of radiation treatment, targeted and immunotherapy, organization of palliative care, digitalization of processes and training of oncological personnel.
The MCSC named after A.S. Loginov was presented by leading experts:
- The director of MCSC named after A.S. Loginov, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Khatkov Igor Evgenievich made a report "Principles of organization of oncological care in Moscow". He shared his experience in building a modern system of care for patients with cancer, emphasizing the role of an interdisciplinary approach, innovative technologies and the availability of high-tech medicine.
- The leading researcher of the Department of Coloproctology, Professor, MD Vyacheslav Aliyev presented the report "Minimally invasive technologies in colorectal cancer surgery — the future today." In his speech, he spoke about the possibilities of modern surgical techniques that can significantly improve the effectiveness of treatment and the quality of life of patients.
- Oncologist-surgeon of the Department of Coloproctology Matveev Igor Vladimirovich presented the message "Optimization of surgical treatment for localized forms of cecal cancer." He highlighted modern approaches to the choice of surgical intervention tactics, emphasizing the importance of individualization of treatment and the introduction of minimally invasive technologies. Special attention was paid to the issues of reducing the traumatism of operations, accelerated rehabilitation of patients and increasing the oncological radicality of interventions.
In addition to the scientific program, our specialists visited the new cancer center of the RSC of Uzbekistan. The excursion allowed to get acquainted with the advanced approaches used in the clinical practice of colleagues and discuss the prospects for further cooperation.
